Description

Versiera is a new kind of web application for remote management and monitoring of computer systems. To use it: register for an online account (https://versiera.com/) download and install a small agent on each computer to be managed - you are now ready. Versiera includes many advanced capabilities including compliance modeling and deviation tracking, infrastructure documentation, centralized scheduling and job control, system and service monitoring.

The Versiera Control Center is accessible using most popular web browsers over the Internet. Versiera collects and analyses information from your computer infrastructure describing its active and configuration states by means of host agents (agents are about 700KB) that push information to the central Versiera system over an authenticated and encrypted connection (SSL). Every remote host agent is assigned a unique digital certificate to authenticate and encrypt all communications. Broad operating system support is offered and current host agents include Windows*, OSX (Intel/PowerPC), Linux (x86 32/64), FreeBSD (x86), NetBSD (x86), OpenBSD (x86) and Solaris (Sparc).
